AFCAT 2021 Notification And Exam Date

The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is conducted by the Indian Air Force. And invites eligible candidates both (Men and Women) to be part of this elite force. The AFCAT exam is held twice a year in February and August/September, respectively, to select Class-I Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duties (Technical and Non-Technical) Post. AFCAT Eligibility Criteria 2021

Flying :

Flying Branch candidates age should be 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2022 i.e. born between 02 July 1998 to 01 July 2002. (both dates inclusive). The upper age limit for candidates who have valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence is relaxable up to 26 years i.e. born between 02 July 1996 to 01 July 2002 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification: Graduation with minimum 60% marks and must have scored minimum 60%marks in Maths and Physics in 10+2 in 12th standard.

Ground Duty Technical:

The candidate age should be from 20 to 26 years as of 01 July 2022 i.e. born between 02 July 1996 to 01 July 2002 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have B.Tech/ B.E degree in notified streams as mentioned in the official notification of the IAF with a minimum of 60% marks and have scored a minimum of 60% marks in Physics and Maths in 10+2 standard are eligible for technical entry.

Ground Duty Non-Technical:

The candidate age should be from 20 to 26 years as of 01 July 2022 i.e. born between 02 July 1996 to 01 July 2002 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification: For Administration, candidates must have Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% Or Cleared section A&B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized university with 60%.

CDS Exam Notification 2021

The Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) twice every year for the recruitment of candidates into Combined Defence Services- IMA/INA/AFA/OTA. UPSC CDS Part I and Part II are conducted every year for those aspirants who want to serve the nation by joining the defence forces can start applying for the CDS examination. In order to apply online for the CDS examination, candidates must meet all the eligibility criteria set by the Commission. The selection of the candidates will be based on the written examination followed by an interview for intelligence and personality test.

UPSC CAPF Notification 2021

Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Examination is a competitive exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission to recruit candidates in the Central Armed Police Forces. The post belongs to Group A (Class I Gazetted), candidates recruited through this exam, join the forces as Assistant Commandant (AC). Every year lakhs of the country from all over the country apply for a few hundred seats under this exam. The exam is conducted for enrollment of candidates into the various Security Forces.

(NDA)National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination 2021

NDA is organized by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) and it is one of the most desiring defence entrance exams in the country. NDA is a national level entrance exam that is held twice every year, the exam is conducted for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). This exam conducted in two stages known as written exam and SSB Interview. The candidates who qualify in the written test will be eligible to attend the next stage which is the SSB interview, after this medical test will be considered eligible for entry into NDA.

Most frequent questions and answers

You can only give the NDA exam when you are appearing for your 12th standard or have finished your 12th. and your age must fit between 16.5 and 19.5.

AFCAT General Awareness consists mainly of current affairs and level is easier as compared to CDSE where it consists of a blend of questions, the level is tougher.

No, after completion of 12th standard you are not eligible for CDS(Combined Defence Service) exam because the minimum education qualification to apply this exam is Graduation.
